Well, yeah, you make a filter less effective at filtering things to get more air flowing through, it’s gonna let more air and dirt through.

This is the cold air intake on my friends Miata, he sees nothing wrong with it.

The amount of hate on this post is offensive. It doesn't matter if it's not to your taste, the owner of the car clearly loves it and that's all that matters. I personally think it looks fantastic, and the video is making me add a 350Z to my list of cars to consider buying

Would you rather me hellflush or stance it out? I modified it for track duty and mountain drives, and yes, its VERY awesome at it =P

Very nice and clean. If I owned a 350Z, this is pretty much exactly how I would set it up and drive it. Great car control and heel-toe technique in the video.
