That’sa major letdown. I didn’t expect much from Prodigy, but after getting through season 1 I’d say it’s perhaps the best of the modern Trek shows. Only Strange New Worlds comes close. Discovery and Picard are vastly inferior to Prodigy.

Whether a wage is fair or not varies. Not all people, regions, nations, etc are on exactly the same standard. We don’t have a right to force everyone else to confirm to our standards.

“It shouldn’t matter how basic a job is” says, in effect, “People who do more sophisticated work that requires a greater investment of time, energy, education and experience don’t deserve to be paid more than a Jr high dropout who doesn’t know how to do anything more than sweep floors”.

Not really. The worst corporations make bad choices to save costs (or how bad staff) that wind up causing things like environmental harm.

They do, but only a small percentage of Macs sold are at the top end. And this thing isn't a Mac. It has nowhere near the utility of a MacBook.

If it’s a game you’d otherwise play, then yes there is. Only a complete idiot rejects the experience of a game, story, gameplay, etc for no reason other than the sex of the protagonist.

Anyone who refuses a game solely on the sex of the protagonist is a moron. Full stop. 

Yeah, I’d rather they do another game exploring some other facet of mental illness with a new character.

My wife plays on her own switch (I also have one). She plays on Xbox. So what? What’s the big deal? I certainly don’t see anything worth being concerned about, much less *angry*.

Don’t bet on it. 

Successful by what metric? This thing will be DOA. No chance it’ll ever see broad adoption at that price or anything close to it.

The funny part of the CMA is that their reach extends no further than their island. So literally, if anyone gets the short end of the stick after the deal goes through (and it 99% likely will), it’ll be British Gamers--aka the people the CMA claims to “protect”.

Antitrust *is* arbitrary, so that shouldn’t be an issue :P.
