Think about the resources of 8 switches, now that we know you can use more than one and play across both at the same time. No idea if a game could be co-processed across 8 like it apparently can across two, but if so...that’s some beastly power right there :P

“Get away with” is kind of a weird way to put it. I suggest all the makers are saying is that their motivation was to carry the narrative forward organically from the first game (DC is only a hop, skip and a jump from NYC, after all) and explore an area that’s not typically presented as your game’s playground in a lot

I see your view, and to an extent I agree: there are political implications in everything. However, that doesn’t make every person’s choice inherently political in nature, it just makes those choices have political consequences. That checkers game our hypothetical person bought? Maybe they were motivated purely by a

You know, a certain philosopher whom people, left and right alike, love to hate, said exactly this over 70 years ago. Only then, nobody bought it. I think that’s funny.

There is absolutely nothing “under powered” about the Switch. It plays gorgeous games in HD with consistently high frame rates. Consoles aren’t about specs and dick waving, they’re about *games*, and Switch has them in spades.

Yeah, but honestly, if you can get those games on your PS4 or Xbox One, so what? For me, the Switch is all about the stuff I can’t get anywhere else. Multiplatform stuff is fine, and I’ll buy it wherever my friends are playing it, but it’s not why I bought a Switch :).

Hey, if the Switch has a lifetime like the Wii did, that’s nothing but good news. 100 million units sold is nothing to sneeze at. But in terms of games looking and playing great, I know what you mean: the Wii looked incredibly dated, visually, by the end of the generation. It was fine for it to be SD, given HD hadn’t

I hope not. There’s no good reason this generation shouldn’t last another 5 years.

Having attended a few of these, it’s hard to blame them too much. For whatever reason, none of the locations ever seen to have quite the bandwidth or reliability they need, especially if you’re unlocked enough to be constrained to WiFi. You’d think ign as a biggish outlet would have it all sorted, but not necessarily.

Libertarians aren’t anarchists. Hell, even Capitalism isn’t anarchist. Neither Marx nor any other economist has ever identified any form of capitalism that was anarchist in nature. It simply doesn’t exist :).

True, in some places. Not in the US, though, which is what I’m addressing. Libertarian philosophy at least insofar as the US is concerned is for small government, not no government. :). Sure, you get the occasional crackpot, but that’s true in all political movements (see: Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump supporters) :P

I wouldn’t call “get rich quick schemes” especially capitalist, but that’s just me :P. Still, that’s a clever way of seeing him, haha :)

I do and did. But I wasn’t talking to the article, I was talking to the person above me. Sorry you’re incapable of following a conversation.

Umm, Wario is an anarchist, not a Libertarian.

I’m not telling anyone how to do anything. I’m stating an opinion. You can take it or leave it, and it makes no difference to me at all.

No, I’m saying you should accept that people have different points of view, and that they have the right to hold those points of view even if they’re wrong. What they DON’T have the right to do is force those views on others. There’s a WORLD of difference between respecting an opinion and respecting someone’s right to

And now we know you don’t actually know what a Straw Man fallacy looks like, surprising no one.

Maybe, but you’re both missing the real issue. I can hold someone’s particular opinion in utter contempt with no respect at all, and yet still respect that person’s RIGHTS to hold the opinion they do.

Nobody said they do. There’s a difference between respecting an OPINION and respecting someone’s RIGHT to hold their opinion. I think Conservatism and Progressivism are the evil ideologies of bullying assholes, but I nevertheless respect the rights of people to hold those views. You have every right to be wrong.

Actually, it didn’t originally protect men, that’s relatively recent. And not all states have common law marriage (which is stupid anyway). Just another example of two things: a) busybodies in government insisting they need to tell other people how to live, and b) people not wisely using their time to develop
