Yeah, the alternate ending made more sense, I guess, but was also SUPER preachy and ham-fisted and yet another The Day the Earth Stood Still retread, of which God knows there are enough in sci fi. I much prefer the amicable and inscrutable NTIs from the Theatrical Version.

EXHIBIT B: Michael Bay

The "hoisted on our own retard" bit was rather Michael Scotty, but other than that I agree.

Well, not to never show him. I mean, he was in the pilot. His role just inflated as they recognized the wonder that is Martin Sheen.

Yep. You miss Malcolm. Hopefully there will be a crossover in the future.

I wonder if he ever will.

Maybe it's unnecessary nowadays, but in 1960? People just wouldn't have known what to make of it.

True. At that point, I found myself kind of wishing the whole movie was pirates.

Not "Trotter?"

Shit.

Tarzan was pretty decent, and not just for the technical advancements.

No traction? Nicolas Winding Refn said he's gonna make it with Christina Hendricks or Gina Carano.

The answer I was looking for was "The Right Thing."

No, but I was powerfully reminded of the Where the Wild Things Are trailer, if only because of the little kid and horned behemoths.

Try changing your dead owl plan to a provider with better coverage.

Whoa… I'm captivated.
