I would worry about being mistaken for a pedophile because I'm an adult male in a park approaching a child that was alone.

Seriously? I'm not trying to be an asshole here, but that is pretty much the point of a park. I don't think I could add up all the time I was unattended in a park for hours on end.

I don't give a good goddamn what color the child is/was, if I saw an unattended child in a park for hours on end, then there's no way I'm not calling the cops about it. This is why cops exist. Rush wasn't half bad. Speed 2 and The Lost Boys weren't really cinematic achievements. Although, 15 year old me would have hit that so hard back when The Lost Boys came out.
