Is it really that groundbreaking though? Most of it is tech from the 70's or earlier, and not in any particularly new application.

Maybe just send a team out to bust open the tube? As long as they can get it open in a few hours that’s OK surely?

I think I’m really confused, or I’m not seeing the big picture version of this. How do self-driving cars eliminate the need to park them when they’re not in use? Legitimate question to the proposed changes above, not trying to be snarky or anything.

People have grown in size too.

The only 4 door factory convertible made that I can think of since 1975 is the Jeep Wrangler. There’s a market where effectivly it isn’t being serviced by even the used car market.

Replace the McLaren with a huge pile of burgers, and you have mine.

But that looks so tiring...

The TT, A3, and A5 can all be had with a soft top. I don’t see why Audi needs a forth convertible.

Because Ferraris need help catching fire....
