I agree. I’m just sick of the process of it.

I use the recipe on the Tollhouse chocolate chip package, make a huge batch, and add Heath Bar pieces, butterscotch, all kinds of nuts, different chocolates, m&ms, peanut butter chips, candy cane pieces, or whatever you can think of. I end up with five or ten kinds of cookies from one batch of cookie dough.

I like toll house cookies too, but what I do is replace all the light brown sugar and white sugar with dark brown sugar. Sometimes, I also add a tablespoon of heavy cream to the recipe to make the cookies a little chewier. I was already planning to head to the supermarket in the morning.
