I know, LOL... I hear that phrase maybe every 5 years lately (the last time I remember hearing it with any regularity was in the 1980s) and seems like it’s further and further from the original stereotype every time

I can confirm that it is pretty awesome, it’s basically what I do on a very, very small scale (have a job I enjoy and smoke a lot of weed)(in my 40s).

I may be blanking on this but does Andy ever have anything to do with the K-clan, at least proper? I know his friend Anderson Cooper haaaates them, or used to.

Wigs/extensions/other add-ons-carrier

I have to go to Chili’s every now and then because I have a group of friends who has every birthday get-together there (!??) and I’ve given up on trying to eat anything there. EVERY time, I get the runs. Chili’s is just so, so bad.

LOL at the huge cassowary painting to make her feel at home

Ohhh that cake! Is it called Icebox cake? I would watch Mr. Rogers making it and just beg and beg my mom for one, to no avail because as much as she loved Mr. Rogers, she was a hippie in the kitchen. I didn’t try it until a friend’s mom made me one in college and it was everything I thought it would be. I want to make

It’s a college town with a very VERY heavy Greek presence

I don’t HAVE kids and I’m lactating with rage. I’ve been to that city, Norman is a college town. A friend of mine “married into” the University culture there and while her husband and her in-laws that I’ve met who are actually from there are nice, his frat boy friends are not. One of them holds the distinction of

Ohhh me too me too! And that SVU episode... so awesome. Oh there’s another one, Martha Plimpton was simply charming on WWHL.

Me too, it was a beautiful day at the Dirtbag for role models!

I love Rita Wilson more than I even understand. One of my favorite WWHL *and* SVU guests, I bet there are a few of those! Countess Luann comes to mind...

Did you tell him about your theories when you met him? Apologies if someone already asked, I can’t find it

I am thinking about getting one for my anxious husband. His meds seem to be where they should be at the moment, but I still catch him gripping a pillow every now and then without realizing it. Good luck to you!

As an adult, the only place other than work that I’ve met people that I wanted to keep talking to has been at the gym. Not meat/meetmarkety gyms, the local rec centers with group exercise classes. I have a whole little gang of friends that I met through Zumba that I wouldn’t have made otherwise, because I moved to a

I don’t have or want or have strong feeling about kids but I die whenever a baby waves at me, usually in line at the supermarket. It’s very reaffirming. I’m not from the rather insular area where I live now, so adults are suspicious of me, and when a baby waves I’m like “See, they know I’m a nice person!”

What a fun project! Right now my “office” is an end of our cheap couch that is causing one of my shoulders to creep up. So I can say, get something very good to sit in/on. Have so much fun designing yours and post pics here!

GORGEOUS

What! you are an amazing mom. I don’t have kids and my brother and I were the most boring kids ever, but scenarios like this are why I don’t. Not because it’s an end of the world situation - you are doing all the right things and I have an image of Big Foot finally realizing this and crying and thanking you - but
