Well.... yeah, I guess that is true :D
I really like the 200. I think it was dogged pretty early on by lack luster transmission tuning that I’m not sure if FCA ever completely figured out. If it was available with a manual one might have found its way into my garage when I was shopping to replace my 5spd VR Passat Wagon.
I like the 200. I think it’s an attractive car and well equipped. Hate to play the Jalop here but if it came with a 6mt, I would have considered one when I was replacing my 5mt VR Passat Wagon.
I counter that with my ‘95 grand cherokee had the 4.0 as a base engine, but there was absolutely nothing wrong with the 5.2l (318 C.I.) engine under the hood. Chrysler as been making the LA series engines since the mid 60s. Not to take anything away from the 4.0 either though, I have one of them too.
Shouldn’t that be...
“Fill my eyes, with that tunnel vision”
I would extend this to hiding the bumper rebar and pretending it’s part of the gaping maw that we call a grille these days. Oh and also fake vents in general.
Reminds me of this...
I’m of the opinion that a car shouldn’t have “apps” and “infortainment” in the first place. Your car has “X” app lets say. Well what happens in 3 years when “X” app developer files for bankruptcy, or changes their means of interface. Now you have to look at “X” widget for years to come that does nothing. Oh look you…
We need Quackshot, ..........
Lancer Rally OZ
It makes me happy too ;)
Love mine!
The 99.9% of the population you are talking about would never turn them off or even know where the buttons was, what it means, or where the settings in the menu are in the first place.
I try to shame people every day for it. I gave a highschool friend a bunch of crap the other day on FB for buying a Renegade, and when I asked him if he at least bought the manual transmission one, he said he didn’t want a manual (even though he knows how to drive one).... That little vein in my head started popping…
‘79-’86 are the best Foxes.
4-eyed Foxes are the bestest Foxes. I had an ‘85 LX notchback with a 2.3, not fast but damn that thing was reliable.
agree.
I can see your point with the safety stuff, as we are dealing with the lowest common denomenator of population. But on fuel ecconomy that’s not entirely true. Take the example I gave of the volvo, start stop on by default every time you start it, yet in a BMW you can disable it in the iDrive settings permemently. The…
yep.. this was a thing. LOL
