But it’s not an absurd statement. It’s entirely true. Exclusives exist largely to lure you into one ecosystem or the other, because at the end of the day, they make more money on the game purchases than they do the hardware sales.

You all have been super informative, I sincerely appreciate it! I was honestly ignorant to most of this information, forgive the ignorance. :)

I have no clue why in the bloody blue hell people are excited about a multiplat arcade game running somewhat, which is probably using more code from the 360/PC versions of the game....Impressive would be ZERO multiple arcade titles and some actual retail Sony EXCLUSIVES....

Are you actually serious? You do realize that this is shit emulation right? Its a fucking multiplat arcade game, what do ya wanna bet since it was on 36o and PC that “code” is more 360/PC frankenstein than PS3....Its also a 10 year old console and still doesn’t have a real actual factual PS3 EXCLUSIVE emulator, just

what Sony should do, is instead of offering the same thing as emulators... actually make sequels to their games. Wipeout Super-HD? I’d like that.

The X1's emulation difficulties don’t come from render culling, and actually performs better in terms of loading than the 360. It’s exceptionally good at running games like Fallout 3 and Mirror’s Edge, which don’t require complex CPU calculations.

Sony’s likely long since taken note and been at work on an emulator of their own for quite some time.

Killzone 3 has to be the single most technically impressive visual feast on the PS3, with uncharted 3 as a close second and God of war ascension following close behind it. If it ran at 1080p 60fps, it would hold up extremely well against even current titles. Not like this is close to happening or anything but hearing

This is concerning. Using an episodic model seems like a lazy way to release a game before it’s finished and to try and make people pay more than the game is worth. Say it’s $20 per episode and they make 5-6 episodes. It might not have more content than a regular $60 game, but they’ll end up getting you to pay

You absolutely do have the right to install anything you want to on the hardware. You do not have:

This! Here’s a screenshot of The Last of Us running on a PC:

PC elitists are getting more and more annoying every day. I wonder if they realize that while gaming did get started on PC it’s the massive mainstream market and appeal of consoles that keep the big hits viable and the reason the pc ports sometimes come later. Face it, consoles sell more software than PC. At least on

GamerGate’s specific goals are by nature impossible to define

I suggest you read the article again if you don’t understand why in fact the only professional thing to do in this situation is to recuse yourself from coverage of the title due to fears of perceived bias.

How is he expecting to win with graphics like that??

welp... this is embarrassing!
