Why?

I saw one reply that referred to him as “A billionaire from the version of Steam you’re forced to use in Hell.”

Yeaaaaah....

Like, he has a reputation as a cosplayer, but like you said, this is just a dude dressing up for a promotional photoshoot with everything paid for by corporate interests.

I hate the gatekeeping on cosplay for like not making things yourself and whatnot (some people just don’t have the time to make

OK, but it was sold as a “real world pokemon collecting experience” to fulfill that fantasy of being a Pokemon trainer, but there’s very real points to be made about accessibility and safety for the disabled. Pokemon GO is a video game at the end of the day, and there’s no reason there can’t be some concessions to

You’d think people would have learned to stop trying to make Jedi Orders by now, because it seems to end poorly every time they do.

The offhand remark of “decapitations are on Wednesdays” was also a great line.

I’m honestly okay with Miyamoto retiring or stepping back more from operations at Nintendo. His influence on the company and its games is undeniable, but at some point, new talent has to be allowed to flourish.

The whole debacle with Star Fox Zero probably would have been avoided if he were more hands off as well.

The bigger issue for me is that as much as I loved the original Horizon, I still haven’t been able to find a PS5 on the shelf at any given time going into a store, and I’m also not going to buy a console for a single game...

This, basically.
I’d like to know that my life and well-being is slightly more valuable to the people around me than a Wizard Game or a Chicken Sandwich.

Royalties or no, proving there is a demand for such a product by purchasing it and making money for the company that produced it makes them more likely to enter into another such licensing deal in the future, thus putting the money into Rowling’s pocket.

If The Anti-Trans-Lady Wizard Game came out and completely

I think my favorite moment of “having X character defeat the boss” was having Anna take out the bandit leader, because she has just been having the worst day and now she got her ass kicked by a child.

Right, there’s no reason they can’t do both. Have your occasional, tentpole, massive AC game every few years, and put the smaller, focused games in between as a palate cleanser. Also, if you’re going to do the “classic style” games, bring back the smaller setting of everything happening in a single city.

I loved Black

I kind of took that as a indication that Blanc’s skills lay in unraveling complicated situations and seeing the nuance in things, and there’s no real nuance in simply checking off lists of things and exhausting possibilities by brute force.

So I get that like, a lot of people have a lot of attachment to a series they grew up with, and people are naturally excited about new things in that series. It’d be the sort of reaction I’d get if someone made a new StarTropics or something like that. And like, as a trans woman myself, I hate to boil it down to “if

Not surprising, since the backlash hit hard for the first season pass, and they never really managed to recover from that. Future seasons were much less grindy, and gave alternate ways to earn items, but they also gave out so much Mythril that there was almost no reason to even spend money on it.

The only thing the

I’d have no problem with AI artwork generation if it was done ethically, either an artist using their own source images to train the model, or fairly compensating the artists whose work IS being referenced in the process of creating the work, but until that ends up being the case, fuck ‘em.

I have noticed recently that like, it feels like a new set is dropping constantly lately. Like, we just barely got Domanaria United and now Brother’s War is going to be out soon. There used to be time for products to breathe and for the game to shift as people figured out the new cards and right now it’s just an

Not a lot of options in the graphics department other than resolution, but that’s kind of to be expected. On the plus side though, the entire game can be played with just the mouse (aside from entering text) and there’s an option to quit to Desktop without quitting to the Title Screen first, so for a PC port, Not bad!

I’m enjoying The Divine Force mainly because it feels like the kind of weird, mid-budget RPGs that we got back in the PS2 days, and we don’t get a ton of those anymore.

I remember when one of the big selling points of the 10-series NVidia GPUs was not only increased performance graphically, but also reduced power consumption at the same time. Now they’ve basically just said “fuck it” on efficiency just to pump out bigger numbers.
