As someone that still frequently quotes the first 10 seasons of the Simpsons, this is so painful to see. The animation is horrible. The ‘joke’ consists of the characters literally just stating “I am a different person now, haha.” Yikes.

As much as I agree with you in principal, I think one could very easily make the argument that Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze’s changes for the animated show are *absolutely* respectful towards the original content, as they were clearly written in a way that both understands the source material and builds on it.
As a designer it’s not so much the font that is making me cringe as much as the type treatment. “THE UNDEAD WITH AN UNDEAD EYE” is completely haphazardly laid out, nothing is lined up, it feels like they asked a marketing intern to come up with something in word because the actual designers were too busy.
I found out about the “White Arabian” horse in Red Dead Redemption 2. I made the huge trek up to the snowy part of the map to find it... Easily found it and...
For the life of me I could not tame the damn thing. I have no idea why, I’ve looked up a bunch of guides on how to do it, I just cannot manage to calm the damn…
I don’t post here a lot but this is such a bad take.
I can’t believe this article doesn’t go into the original memes that came out when the game first released, including this clip which is to-this-day one of my favorite things on the internet:
“Who did those tits? The nipple placement is crazy!”
This article doesn’t mention the best part of this story - as he was getting put into the squad car, he offered to take the temperature test. The cops replied that it was too late, and his temperature would be taken at the station, to which he quietly replied, “That’s good.”
As someone that works at Ogilvy NY, it’s a bit odd that you guys keep referencing us. No one at Ogilvy works on Burger King, and none of us had any idea about this project. This is 100% David Madrid.
I was really excited for this game up until this article...
Avril 14th is Aphex Twin day, after all.
(Though you should’ve just posted Avril 14th instead ;) )
In all seriousness, as someone who loved the first and hasn’t played the 2nd yet, this is a little disappointing... In the first you could tell when a soldier was going to miss because they weren’t lining up their shots quite right.
