@YummyCyanide: Fair enough. And if the nexus S is anything like the N1, it may be out in ATT 3g soon.

@YummyCyanide: There are so many awesome android phones with ATT 3G why not just switch now? And I'm not talking about the crap ATT offers.

@Ashwin Mudigonda: There's not really an idiot proof guide. Your best bet is to head over to XDA and read read read. Rooting allows you to completely customize your G2. Custom rom's, removing bloat, and loading the faster kernal (I'm at 1.4ghz) are the best benefits. You will have to re-install all your apps

@Ashwin Mudigonda: dude the G2 is easy to root and load CM 6.1. I'm running it right now!

meh

This looks like a depth of field illusion to me. Wouldn't the birds have been ingested causing engine failure?

@dennis636223: Yup and guess what... the streak now runs froyo FTW!

Hipster: "I'm non conformist - look how cool I am... OMG Iphone 4! "

Rooted dell streak, FTW!

So how many more months do we have to wait before (if ever) these phones are released with AT&T 3g bands?

This is such BS. If I wasn't afraid to end up in Gitmo I would do this just to prove a point. What a sad country we've become.

@OCEntertainment: ATT's Data only plan is for the ipad and it only costs $25. I'm using it right now with VOIP on my unlocked Dell Streak.

@iamnotafish: If skype is ever released for android... =/

@ortizlgnd4: water's not wet though. it just "is". When something is covered in water it becomes wet. =)

@MaxPoint: just keep buying apple products that's what they are trying to accomplish.

hmmmm.... this doesn't work when you live where I live (69 degrees north) and you have to cover every square inch of your body to avoid frostbite. Any other ideas for Vitamin D?

Why isn't the Canadian Dollar worth MORE than the USD now that the US economy is in the toilette?

Doesn't work for me. Screen sharing on my MBP doesn't give an IP address or username/password. It says new-host.home???? Help please

Can someone confirm whether you can restore a complete OS from an unsupported drive? I understand it may work to backup files, and retrieve older files, but what about if your HD craps out, and you have to install your OS from scratch using the utility described in the original post? Will Time Machine be able to

I can't get this to work under vista. This is such a great utility for determining signal strength when setting up networks. Is there anything else that works under vista?
