Oh, I figured bombs made them easy (not that they’re terribly hard) but they’re something of a precious resource so I don’t like to use them if I don’t need to.

Really, I just use any monster part that makes a club + dura up stick (pref 2 hand). They all work well for breaking rocks.
Also of note, if you just keep grabbing bits of them they’ll also collapse after about...5 or 6 I think? Basically enough to compromise the structural integrity of it. just keep grabbing bits so they fall off and it’ll fall apart eventually. Lvl 3 ones move the core around, so it can be hard to snag. I don’t think…
Sorta. They’re basically near the top, and I found them right before I got to the shrine. Either way you find them near the end, so I suppose you're correct.
I can see that. ER is definitely rather boring on a second playthrough, and boss reuse is kind of annoying late game. For BotW at least most of the shrines were unique, but yes they’re not a true Zelda dungeon. If that's the experience you wanted it'll be a bad time. (Even I found the beasts disappointing)
I love open worlds but BOTW and ER both were exploration without rewards to me.
I mean, the real sin for TF2 was releasing the game directly between 2 huge blockbuster FPS releases, and then going “OMG, no one buys this crap”. One of said releases was EA’s own damn game, Battlefield, and the other being CoD. If they’d delayed the release until say...December, it probably would have done much…
Seriously. I may or may not have trolled the heck out of Deathwing RF back in cata out of sheer boredom. Priest Lifegrip was built for trolling.
Probably. FWIW, tradeshows and the like have always been kinda fun to walk around once in a while. You get to see some new stuff, give it a little whirl, and see lots of weird ideas come out of the woodwork too. That said, they’re still a basically a giant advertisement.
I’m OK with it being easier. I’ve run into a couple shiny Pokemon over the years (A gold caterpie back in Silver during the bug catching contest was my first, not counting the Gyarados) but I could never make much of a effort at it simply because it was such a massive time sink. These days the games have gotten a lot…
Very much so. I’ve, at least once, had to report porn on a laptop to a manager (the normal type thank god, but still). These days I’m the telecom guy and don’t have to touch user stuff to often anymore thankfully.
Yeah, every environment is different. I work for a medical company and we’re pretty strict because of HIPAA. With smaller companies it’s usually less of an issue and the environment tends to be more relaxed in my experience.
From a managerial standpoint, I’m with you. You’re on top of your work, who cares if you putz around a bit in some downtime.
I hated tea time. Too many units to keep track of everyone’s preferences, and the questions are vague. Neat idea that was poorly implemented.
Eh, for the most part it’s tolerable enough, at least to catch one and move on. Still, it definitely needs work.
You’re right when it comes to Returnal, it could probably be optimized better. It’s only 32 recommended though. It’s the next logical leap from 16. A PC has a lot more going on in the background as it is compared to a console, so while you may have 16GB of RAM, you may only have 10-12 of that available for use. My…
We’re moving into the next gen finally. Expect base requirements to see a bit of a jump overall. As far as RAM is concerned, it’s getting cheap again so buy more if you need it. I’ve had 48GB for a few years now. Really I’m more concered on the GPU side of things.
Well, the goal is play support with screens and debuffs. I did it a bunch with Charizard when I had to.
andI’m kinda stumped on what to bring honestly. Having Poison Tera, Water and Dark cover the two STAB types that counter it, Ground and Psychic respectively. I may just end up using Umbreon, but I’m not sure.
IMO, games shouldn’t be officially announced more than 6 months before release. By that point the overarching game should be mostly locked in. Theoretically, it should help prevent some of the over-hype we’ve been dealing with in major releases as well.
