Yeah, I get that. In my previous job I was stuck in the middle of an open office and local management refused to give me an office (I’ll probably make this sound worse than it was). People would constantly just walk up to me and interrupt my work or ask me questions. Management (parent company management that is) was

Yup. We’ve changed systems with stuff, and I can’t count the number of times I’ve heard “Well, it worked in the old system! Why doesn’t it work this way in the new one?!”

Generally, I also agree. That said, when 1 click becomes 5 or 6, it can get irritating when multiplied across multiple instances, and I have a pretty high annoyance tolerance.

Ah, I'm guessing that you, my friend, have never worked IT before. There is nothing an end user will complain about more than extra steps. Especially if they cause even a miniscule slow down to whatever task they were performing. And we, the IT staff, will hear about it until the end of time...or something marginally

Either or would be nice. I primarily play in the evening/at night and I actually rather like it that way. Theoretically it wouldn’t be too difficult to implement. Guess we’ll have to wait and see. I’m not holding my breath though. I have noticed that the last few gens they’ve been moving away from stuff appearing

It was. For about a year. You can thank Ajit ‘Most punchable face in the US’ Pai and the republican party for repealing the Title II status and ensuring the FCC cannot re-enact it in the future. It now must go through congress. We all know how well THAT will go.

They’re laptops with ok internals, wifi only, and possibly decent sound. (latest WiFi supported though at least, so that’s a plus) Put bluntly, they’ll fair about as well as the Stadia did. Maybe if they work with a lan adapter it’ll be ok. At least they’re still useful as a sorta-laptop (because ChromeOS) Still, I

Really, the best advice here is: Have I seen this before? If not, kill a couple for mats.

So, a couple things to add.

Knowing the full dex before release? Maybe seeing all the maps? Hard to say. Some people want to go in as close to 100% blind as possible. For me at least, part of the fun of these games is just the exploring and finding new Pokemon.

Indeed. It had all the makings of a good game, and just shoots itself in the foot in the latter half.

Yeah, no problem. What I’ve seen of the X3, it seems more active for sure. I’ll get my copy at some point here. I snagged a SE, but Nintendo hasn’t shipped em yet. Gonna suck to wait another week.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t really a fan of XCX in the end. Mostly because of (spoilers?) awful cliffhanger ending, and because of how the game plays, hearing the same 3 tracks over and over and over. I don’t think I can tolerate another round of “uh” and “yeah”. Combat was super abusable though. Anyway, I didn’t mention

Yeah, they’re all similar underneath. Really the core issue is that they’re slow starters. That said, things get busier as you go along.

See, I’ve been in tech for a long time too, and I’ve seen how people treat their stuff. I’m fine buying used enterprise stuff, but consumer is a hard no. In this particular case though, ight be able to get a deal...maybe.

Looks like they’re pushing out to a “later date” whenever that is, per Twitter. Possibly the most frustrating experience I’ve had trying to get something in a long time.

He’s not wrong to say they aren’t good or bad imo. Everything is situational and should be treated as such. There are plenty of great unions, and there are some corrupt ones. that said, if your employees are pushing to unionize, perhaps it’s time to take a hard look at your business. If you’re not listening to your

Ok, it gives you a snippet about the scene and pic. I just don’t see it as all that earthshattering as far as spoilers go. You have no context for the scene. I guess to me, for it to be spoilers it needs more in my book. The article on the whole is absolutely spoilers.

I guess I don’t see it as particularly spolierish. It’s not like it’s a video of the entire scene (which, is in the article fyi). Without context, my only thought initially was “huh, wonder how this plays out”. I’m sorry, this just isn’t on the level of “Aerith dies!” Or “Snape kills Dumbledore!”

You could have...not read the article?
