True, but even if it’s lighthearted it’s still set in a rather gritty universe, which is a departure from standard Pokemon depictions.

After the disaster that was the SMB movie, Nintendo has been VERY tight fisted with their IPs when it comes to movies. I'm surprised that Detective Pikachu got made honestly, but it does look surprisingly good.
Bcause the paying for exclusives is shortsighted. (by the Dev mostly) On one hand, you’re getting an injection of cash. Great! On the other, you’re now limited to a single distributor of your product and potentially pissing off your customers. Not so great.
yeah, but they made it worse somehow. 5th gen isn’t nearly as bad as people made it out to be. 6th....just feels strange.
As someone who DD’s a 5th gen, I don’t know what they were going for with the 6th. 5th has a usable trunk (albeit small opening) decent interior space for what it is, and overall a fine DD. Complaints about visibility are mitigated by proper mirror use and just getting used to the car. They took pretty much all the…
If you care at all about the condition of your car, then you are very used to parking as far away from the shopping cart corral as humanly possible when visiting the grocery store.
Very good as far as I can tell, though you need to pay a bit extra for the streaming service. You can also adjust the quality, at least in the Windows 10 app.
My parents refused to buy me a Gameboy when I was a kid. So, I ended up saving my allowance/gift money up plus doing odd jobs (mowing lawns and such) and saved up enough to buy my own GBC. I’ve owned everything since.
FE’s Counters somewhat make sense. Within the games, there’s a an attack, then counterattack mechanic. IMO, counterer should take some damage, then attack back. The full block and retaliate is a bit odd I agree.
Aactually, I think it has the same hp, you’ve probably just got a few more memories under your belt at that point. Still, while less challenging I found the second fight much more irritating due to its twist
If it’s going to have “more bandwidth than a PC” (lol) then it’s probably going to be m.2. Much smaller, but still upgradable. I doubt they’ll solder it, but who knows.
See, now you're attributing a different issue to this one. I play games to have fun. To me, having a challenge IS fun. You can't just blanket say "people who enjoy a challenge don't have a life" or "take the game too seriously". It's simply not true
There are skills involved, and the game puts those to the test. I fail to see how that isn’t a “challenge”. Not all obstacles in a game are challenging, but some certainly are. Overcoming those provides people with a sense of accomplishment. Cheating to do so rather takes away from that. Then you’re just looking to…
Yeah, I’ve had my username for years, and I use it most places. It’s annoying when I run into some asshole who takes it occasionally though.
I guess? If you want to use that stuff, knock yourself out. In the end I don’t really care all that much. Whether I like it or not, it’s not going to stop you, or the millions of other people that use that stuff. I simply choose not to.
Nah, I’m good. I was able to do those without cheating though. /shrug
Some still do, sure. It’s not nearly as common as it used to be though. I didn’t say they don’t exist at all anymore. They’re just very uncommon.
Well, like I said, just my personal opinion. To each their own. For me, I enjoy overcoming challenges.
Sure, and that’s fine. It’s more directed at those that feel they need them to win, or can’t enjoy the game without them I guess. Again it’s just my personal opinion. In the end, you do you. I judge silently (ish). =D
AT - Also how you can accidentally run 110v through the whole PC and let ALL the smoke out by wiring the switch wrong. (Ask me how I know)
