Am I alone in feeling like Saga has kind of gotten lost in the woods? It doesn’t feel like the story has made any real forward plot progression in a long time. It’s just the group jumping from one random alien world to the next with no real purpose. They spent, like, two volumes on some random planet with a family of

He’ll become a Roman soldier.

“Darth Plum in the trash compactor with a force choke”

nah

Man I hate the internet.

I’m doing a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature. I probably read more books (and articles) than you do on a weekly basis. You might want to not be an asshole.

In the last five years, yeah, I think you’re right. DC took Oracle out of the equation when the New 52 dropped that part of her history but kept the Killing Joke in there; since then, the discussion has mostly either been about how it remains a good Joker story, but how it’s also pretty offensive in how it treats

You know, I feel the need to point out that Killing Joke’s treatment of Barbara Gordon, while definitely flawed, still serves a very important role in the larger picture of Barbara Gordon’s history at large. As much flack as it (rightfully) gets for treating her as a mere object, it deserves some level of remembrance

What I want to know is why did the Teen Titans animated movie done in the style of George Perez’s art get canned? Especially now that I see they’re doing Terra’s story with these latest Titans with Damien (I got a free movie from Time Warner cable and watched Justice League vs. Teen Titans).
