That won’t last. I just think they’re trying to be nice to their characters after putting them all through hell and making them horrible people since Infinity happened.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m just saying how it was perceived in-universe. Slott tosses the idiot ball around a lot.
You see this used a lot in the Spider Island crossover, all the heroes treat Pete with a level of unfamiliarity, as if he wasn’t there fighting alongside them in the last crossover a month prior!…
You have to remember, while Peter is/was a card-carrying member of the Avengers, he does the majority of his work solo. He pretty much gets called in any time there’s a plethora of goons (like AIM or Hydra) or an “everyone’s going to die” kind of scenario.
Essentially because some character flaws are hand waved and some aren’t. Same thing with Cap. Anyone that old should be an angry, sexist, jingoistic bastard - but that’s poor representation of the character’s supposed values. So it’s toned down.
I think you got it. I'm just looking at the floating patterns. It's like Zero with the baby elves.
"Like Mega Man X"? Her sprite is a directly modified Zero WITH the cyber elves.
