We doing the James Gunn thing again?
We doing the James Gunn thing again?
Meh... No anthropomorphised lion in the lead role, no deal.
As the owner of a Y chromosome I would be far more worried if all carriers of two X chromosomes were dying, at least with women still around our species would have hope for a future(the banked sperm or eggs fertilized with contents of another egg). And I don’t like the depiction that things are literally falling apart…
I have to stop. Writing bad things about Mystery Men is too easy, which I wish that wasn’t the case. I wish watching the film again revealed something new, something interesting, something fun. But it did not. Instead, I was left enraged that this film, with this level of talent, turned out as poorly as it did.
Foundation is coming out as a tv series for Apple TV+. It’s coming out September 24th 2021.
“I am tired of the motherfucking Decepticons eating mother fucking cheerios!”
that’s the brian herbert and kevin j anderson business method—strip-mining the literary and thematic content from the IP with Phantom Menace-grade storytelling.
None of those actors are doing it because they feel they have to. They like what they do and want to continue. I’m sure if Sir Patrick Steward felt like retiring he wouldn’t have any trouble paying rent.
I always liked DeVito, but his interview with Marc Maron made me respect him even more.
Roland Emmerich is a less talented Michael Bay.
Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween all laugh at a mere 7 movies.
Are all tech blogs just incapable of skipping this stupid story? It’s a prop on a single-camera TV show. That actress is using a fake phone with a fake screen when the camera’s behind her, and a real iPhone when the camera’s in front of her. She never actually uses the iPhone, so there’s no simulated screen either,…
That’s my answer! Charlie Fucking Cox.
Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock.
I know you’re joking, but I’d happily pay to watch a cross of it’s a wonderful life and into the spiderverse. That sounds delightful.
What real benefit is there to seeing a movie in a theater vs. home other than early access? It seems like some folks who make movies are in denial about the future of streaming and how consumers will want to watch content.
What is with DC movies and people always trying to blame the studio when they suck? I know it has become a mantra for Snyder fans (not saying you are one of them) who have used it to excuse the sins of BvS (which is BS, that was Snyder) and Whedon’s Justice League (which there is a lot of validity to the accusation),…
It was ALL her. She and Geoff Johns wrote the script and the studio agreed to give her pretty much total control over the movie.
I couldn’t agree more. Prior to the pandemic kicking us around, I had been seeing fewer and fewer movies in the theater (around 3 per year). I love watching them at home instead where I’m not being annoyed by people playing games on their phones, people unwrapping candy, etc.. Heck I can even pause it and go to the…
Even before the pandemic I had been seeing movies in theater lesser and lesser.
