It might be Netflix not deciding to keep investing in under performing shows, especially when they are for a company that is moving into direct competition with them. They bought Millarworld, they have more than a few characters to start developing. 

Netflix already bought Millarworld.

If anything it’s more likely that Netflix is being more judgemental about investing in a soon to be competitor’s characters, if Iron Fist and Luke Cage are not as popular as the others then they are better to cancel and invest some of that cash in Millarworld.

This doesn’t have to be Marvel cancelling the shows, Netflix may not want to keep making a rival’s characters anymore, they now own Millarworld and probably want to invest in that instead. 

Nah, I’m iching for more Punisher, I thought it was one of their best shows up there with Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Iron Fist has been pretty dire, S2 was better. I like Luke Cage but I don’t think it ever got quite good enough.

This seems like a rehash of the plot from X-Men 3 and not much of the actual Phoenix saga from the comics. I’m not feeling very hopeful about this film anymore.
