She apologized for saying that on her FB page.
She apologized for saying that on her FB page.
That was a little infuriating. She’s upset about women being told what to wear, but then buys into stereotypes. She could have just said, “This looks so weird” or something to that effect.
I completely agree. It’s not about her showing too much skin. It’s about how odd it looks to be wearing a beaded cocktail dress doing the morning weather report. She should wear whatever she wants, but that’s an incongrous outfit. The anger is misplaced here.
Librarians are badass. If there were some magical way to transfer the respect and goodwill that people have for medical doctors to librarians instead, the world would be a better place.
You may hate on CBS, but don’t hate on Elementary and Lucy Liu!’
The addiction storyline is interesting as well as having Lucy Lui as Watson.
Elementary is better than one might think. Yes, it is no Sherlock but it does produce a heck of a lot more episodes for its fans! And it has some spins on Sherlock Holmes characters that are genuinely interesting.
Elementary is great and Lucy Liu is a goddess.
Shut up, Elementary is amazing and so much better than Sherlock.
Smart terrorism. All the disruptive effects of a real bomb, but with none of the bad PR of an explosion. This can evolve two ways, keep on doing just doing this and enjoying the heightened paranoia and economic disruption with the end goal of bringing the target (presumably UK govt) to the negotiating table or to have…
I feel like Netflix should have given all her shows to someone with some actual originality and an interesting life perspective like Sandra Bernhard.
IMO, Chelsea is someone JA, “the girl next door”, hides behind. If Chelsea’s big Hollywood friend told her to tone it down, she would tone it down. Since it’s continuing, or even escalating — draw your own conclusions.
Do you say the same thing about talentless men who are also mystifyingly successful?
She is not funny and is also awful.
She is at the Cannes Film Festival, phonebanking for Bernie, letting us know how down-to-earth and not part of the power elite either of them are. Do you not see it?
Ah, yes, I know the type. I would steer clear of her until the election. If Clinton wins I’d probably just write her off for the foreseeable future.
Susan Sarandon herself is confusing me.
It’s an honorary doctorate though. Those don’t mean shit, and I’m pretty sure someone as accomplished as Coates will see through that tweet.
Omg Sarandon is DEFINITELY that person who walks into any conversation and starts ranting about politics even when it’s an inappropriate time, place, and crowd.
“I’m exhausting.”
