I think she was invisible to the driver too. If you look at the bike in the video it doesn’t look like she has reflectors on her spokes so nothing was visible until the headlights hit her shoes. And at that speed the vehicle wasnt going to stop in time.

6’6” guy here, I spend some of the extra cash I earn from the better job opportunities I get than shorter people to upgrade to an exit row seat.

Bailout

Didn’t one of the GM brands do a cross-country tour in the 70's with a car missing a wheel to show how rigid the chassis was? My Google-fu hasn’t found anything yet but I’ll keep looking...

Corvettes have glass targas so I don’t expect it is too bad.

I like this. I’d also like to posit that fees could be looked at based on possible consequences. Someone speeding in a new Mercedes is less likely to negatively affect anyone else on the road due to the safety features and regular maintenance on that car. Someone in a 1978 F-150 with a bed full of cinder blocks

After 25 years you can register as an antique and don’t have to get an inspection. My ‘64 Cadillac had it’s ‘82 inspection still on the windshield the whole time I owned it.

Stunt doubles?

Just curious - do you not believe that the government having a gun registry makes it easier for them to take them? Do you also not believe that would be a “first step” (beyond procurement of the firearm, of course). I’m not talking likelihood, just logical progression.

That was my thought exactly at @ the 53 second mark - you know she’s having issues and you get behind her? There’s definitely fault to go around, but his self-preservation should have kicked in and exited to “either side where there’s ample room to leave”.

Speaking of sensibility, I always had one question - once they join up do their “cockpits” track up to a central location or stay in their lion heads? I’d rather not take the G’s of someone else swinging me into things.

What I think when I hear “Graphic display”...

I think introducing real TNG Klingon’s to Chris Pine’s timelime would be a very good reason.

If you’re looking for a new car in a larger market walking out might night be the best option, but you DO have a quote in-hand for X amount on a specifically equipped car. You can use that as leverage to get the same price elsewhere, just say the original dealer pissed you off and you’d rather not buy from them if

Something about this pic makes it seem like those are highly detailed action figures

I expect it was more what he did miles before that upset Mr. Adalberto Aponte

I think a batch of Trunk Monkeys should do the trick:

I have an older 4Runner that has the same issue. The seat trim will pop off if I rotate around and put pressure on the outside bolster of the seat bottom. I’ve since trained myself how to get out of it without causing the plastics to pop off.

Are you sure that is bedliner and not undercoating?
