I greatly enjoyed the first - on DVD, since it sounded, whatever the reviews by whoever, too stupid to possibly pull off - but Chapter 2 is by far the better film, because it is utterly absurd and pure comedy.

I'd agree with your "almost" if it meant that we were dealing with, shall we say, "honest" bigots - meaning un- and misinformed people who have enough inside to consider having been wrong, even mostly or entirely wrong.
And willing to make some effort to change their behavior.
