Cars 2 is a goddamn trainwreck. It’s a tonal mess that cannot fin it’s way to clarity on what movie it wants to be, lurching awkwardly from brutally violent spy thriller to Southern hick mocks foreign cultures…

I am perfectly willing to admit that my hatred of the cars franchise comes entirely from the fact that talking cars make no sense to me. I just can’t get over it. Who built the cars? Drives me batty, if you’ll pardon the pun.
