Apparently, every hack’n’slash game slightly harder than average are now called souls like just like very FPS is a Doom like, every RPG is a D&D rip off and every MMO is a either a WoW clone or a WoW killer.

I guess that every big company will need to release a blockchain game so that their CEO and investors realize that games as a job are not fun. Though, if just one of them makes it work, it’ll be just like the MMORPG/MOBA/battle royal/arena shooter/zombie game mess.

It’s video game logic. Realistic games are simply not fun. Pokémon is fun because it is an animal fighting ring simulator and the animals are happy about it. Nobody ever question the ethic behind it.
