I don’t really get why people have fond memory of the shittyness of CRT TVs. Have you looked at one recently? Those things flicker like a strobe light and the interlacing makes feel like the picture is moving up and down by one pixel every frame. And if you played through a coax cable, you’d get a really anoying

God damn it Sony, just let us play physical copies already.

And what kind of guy would? It’s such a specific topic. Who would want a whole relationship based on a subject like that? You don’t see “Wallstreet dating apps”.

nowinstock has a big delay on its notifications though. Following some twitter using windows notifications was how I managed to get a PS5 back in february of 2021. Back then, it was a matter of less than 5 minutes.

It’s not really a matter of the screen resolution being too low, it’s that games need a text/UI size slider. You could have a 4k/1000dpi screen on the Steam deck, if the text is too small, it’ll be hard to read even if you have a good vision. It’s not particularly nice to have to move your face close to the screen

It reminds me of what happened during the previous crypto spike/crash in 2017-2018. Ethereum went up like crazy at the end of 2017 and GPU availability was pretty bad during that time. The price of crypto then crashed in 2018 (meaning, it just went back to normal). Nvidia released their 2000s series the next year and

I would assume it could be done from a PC with a disc drive. Not only another xbox.

And left-wing media are using social medias as scapegoat...

Any cars that’s either white black or grey.

How are people going to be able to have reviews and make a purchase decision without a difficulty slider?

Don’t ever put water in hot oil at all. Even just droping a wet ustensil that was wiped with a cloth is enough to make the oil fly up. Or putting back the metal scoop inside the hot oil of a fryer after washing and drying it up with a cloth is enough to make the frying jump around. Ask me how I know (=

Then why don’t we leave Apple, Microsoft, Amazon or any other multi billion dollar company alone? They should be able to do whatever they want as well don’t they?

Including the leagues, clubs and athletes, those games must be a licensing nightmare.

Mario Kart 8 is the new Skyrim/GTAV, you aren’t done buying it.

I don’t really see the outrage here. Overwatch 2 is basicaly what UT2k4 was to UT2k3. An expansion pack that is released as a standalone game including the previous game’s content. With the way Overwatch is monetized, you can’t expect to get free new content forever.

Why is royalty still a thing anyway?

Now I kind of want a 3rd person shooter Metroid game.

Well, the idea of a digital asset with abitrary value is not much different than trading Pokémon or Baseball cards. And the sale of NFTs on websites such as opensea seems to have its place. It’s just when it comes to video games that indeed, there isn’t much interesting application that won’t make video games feel

This is about the same as if Mike Morhaime said: “This isn’t the Blizzard I left”

“The game’s World War II setting didn’t resonate with some of our community and we didn’t deliver as much innovation in the premium game as we would have liked.”
