I don’t know how much I can trust Carfax. I just traded in a car I bought used about 3 years ago. The dealer now has the car listed as a Carfax one-owner car and is CPO. I dumped it on them because of all the issues I was having. Hope that CPO warranty works for the new (second/third)owner.

This is what bugs me about wagons in the US. Why do they need to be ‘rugged? Why can they be sporty? I miss the days of Subaru Legacy wagons. I really hate Outbacks. Why do they sit so high? Volvo dis the same with their wagons for a while. The new V90 is my huckleberry.

It definitely isnt much uglier than a first gen equinox. As the owner of a GM crossover, I can say their design language isn't improved much from the appliance on four wheels aesthetic. Formless blobs lumbering down the road with no more required than being useful and safe. No more. No less.

Propane tanks fit nicely in a milk crate.  Almost perfectly.  Makes for a wider base.  Plus, if needed, lots of spots to attach tie downs.

Why isn’t the infotainment standardized? Every computer maker doesn’t have their own OS. Just use Android or Apple and be done with it. Everyone would be happy and there would be redundancy standard.

On Carcomplaints.com, the Astro/Safari is listed as one of the best vehicles in terms of reliability. I know a few people who enjoy theirs and have put a lot of miles on them. I would definitely consider them one of the best ‘end of the world’ scenario vehicles.

It looks like you can’t discriminate someone in DC based on their political party. If the driver didn’t say he wouldn’t give them a ride because they are Republicans, then he would be in the wrong. Not wanting to drive them based on their personal views, ie followers of Trump’s views, is well within his rights.

This sounds like a perfect allegory of the future of Government. A bunch of highly-paid incompetent people talking about doing something, and only one guy who does the actual work.  That is how it is in my State job.
