It occurs to me that if you were to take that $600 Cherokee XJ and spend about $2500 on ARB Air Lockers and decent tires, you’d have an off road vehicle that would be just as capable as a Mercedes G Wagon or Land Rover Defender - for about one-tenth the cost of a new car-based Cherokee.
