...pack in a 94 kilowatt hour battery...

not to mention Ford already has an EV Transit. 67kwh and 126miles range, an extra half ton capacity, and a plethora of sizing options. they would be able to get smaller or larger vehicles depending on the route package volume while having standard parts readily available across the entire fleet.

Because then congress can’t just funnel the contract to their interests in the MIC.

It looks like there’s a front differential, so either the system failed or he’s too poor to do the lift all the way and there’s a Bluetooth driveshaft in play.

Lifting their truck has nothing to do with obstacles, or utility.

In a perfect FSD world there will be no stop lights, signs, nothing, just an incredible series of TERRIFYING yet orchestrated near misses...basically like driving in India :)

As a long time wrangler owner, 100x better, 4 gold bars, and $20k lower is pretty tempting. Reach arounds from the salesman, not so much

Aren’t new Broncos incredibly hard to buy for anything close to MSRP? Seems like a false comparison. Ford is selling every vehicle they can build and it’ll likely be years before supply catches up with demand. That’s when you can make a true sales comparison with the Wrangler.

I don’t know how much it helps. It saves on the development costs but it also puts a major risk on the industry - imagine some fundamental design problem that instead of being in 100k cars is in 1000k cars and requires a mass recall. That’s what dependence on Takata created.

It’s even crazier you can can drive anything up to 26,000 pounds:

I love AMC weirdness. They seemed to be a lot like America’s version of Citroen.

The Nash Metropolitan had covers over both the front and rear wheels, giving it a sort of boat-like look.

Considering how 90% of the vehicles on the market nowadays are exactly this—chunky station wagons—AMC gets the gold star for being way ahead of the curve.

If they use the Buddy System to check each other, could have gone either way.

you sir, need more stars...

After 20+ years in education, I have learned never to underestimate the stupidity of people.

My buddy has an ex-wife that’s a loose nut.  The indicators were a little different.

Regardless of their motivations, it’s nice to see they did the kid a solid.
