Ok, ignoring the car itself and focusing on their claims, is there a legal use case for this?

Yep, totally agree. I was just pointing out that as of right this instant, CCS technically has higher output, for those saying CCS is inferior to NACS already.

I know NACS supports up 1MW output, and I expect the V4 Superchargers will easily exceed the output capacity of any CCS charger today.

I don’t think CCS or

CCS is ONLY for DC charging, not sure why you’re saying it can’t do DC.

Technically, the CCS standard has higher wattage chargers than Tesla Superchargers today, like the Electrify America 350kW chargers compared to 250kW Superchargers.

3200lbs is LIGHT these days. That’s the same as an Evora.
A Corvette weighs 300lbs more. An M3 is 4k lbs these days.

Get off your high horse.

Eh, 0-60mph in 9.1sec is pretty damn slow, especially when the new Prius is a full 2 seconds quicker.

I agree on vibration, but sound isn’t all bad. My Mach-E GT has a interior acceleration sound you can turn on and off. I leave it on as it gives subtle feedback to the pedal position.

With a car that accelerates from 0-60 in 3.8sec with a press of a button, having a little aural feedback helps orient my brain to what

Second gear: Aptera isn’t wrong about the Tesla plug being more elegant than J1772 and CCS. A CCS cable and connector is about the size of a gas nozzle, but much heavier and less flexible. This is because the wires inside are liquid-cooled due to the massive amount of DC current being pumped through them.

Tesla’s V2

Ford could have jacked up the Mach-E pricing since it’s completely sold out for 2022, and they didn’t.

I mean, this is exactly what I did for my Mach-E. I can’t blame the dealer for not having inventory, as nobody else did either. They did say I could order the vehicle, test drive it when it arrived, and if I didn’t like it, they would gladly refund my deposit and put it on the lot with a markup, where it would sell in

It depends I think. While the MAGA crowd is certainly the most vocal, you’ll also find plenty of 4x4 groups with other general focuses, regardless of political beliefs. For example, there’s probably a 50/50 mix of left/right politics in my local 4x4 group, but everyone agrees on preserving the natural beauty of the

That Figaro is amazing. Looks like a retro futuristic caricature of cars you’d see in a 1950s sci-fi flick or something, and I’m 100% on board.

I have a story to share on the flipside of this: as an owner renting out my car.

Yeah, but that also begs the question about why the USPS absolutely has to have a weird, customized fleet vehicle. Like what’s so unique about delivering the mail they can’t use the same Ford Transits Amazon uses, or their smaller Transit Connect sibling?

Yeah, I really like Rust Valley Restorers, and some of the cars they produce on the show are pretty sharp. Avery’s shop especially does interesting projects like the mobile band stage built out of a deuce and a half. The premise seems straight out of Pimp my Ride, but the end result seemed genuinely well thought out,

My wife’s Leaf has Nissan’s “ProPilot” system. It has no eye tracking cameras and requires you to provide some level of torque on the steering wheel every 10 seconds or so. It cannot automatically change lanes, but it can steer itself around highway-type curves (no canyon hairpins), and it easily handles stop and go

In essence, Ford said don’t blame us.

And, if you want to bring some of your super-rich pals onto your super stupid yacht, you can.

Ok, hate on wealthy people, whatever, but isn’t the shipyard at fault here? They know the capacities of their shipyards at the waterways around them, isn’t this their screw up?

The market would absolutely disagree on ‘90s BMWs, at least for the M cars.

Reading comprehension my dude:
