There’s always a Sheriff parked at our local Cars and Coffee, everyone is recorded entering and leaving, and I’ve never seen any sort of shenanigans. It’s held every Saturday rain or shine at a local car museum, which opens up its cafe early so people can grab coffee onsite if they wish.

Agreed. The dollar value is irrelevant. What if the owner is an idiot and spent $7k on an air filter?

When I sold my Subaru, I included scans of every receipt I had, but more importantly, I included a spreadsheet with logs of every single part replaced and all work done. I also included oil analysis reports indicating

#3 is the Karl Benz Museum, and with the tag “Disruption moves us forward”, I think they’re referencing Benz’s invention of the gasoline automobile.

Yes. My brother’s Cooper S only had one ECU issue since he bought it new, and that was fixed with a firmware update. Other than that, just normal maintenance like oil changes, which are free the first two years.

Well you certainly don’t need to spend $42k to get one, and at the $23k my brother spent on his Cooper S brand new, it’s a solid car. He bought his brand new in 2016, and though his has the same body and drivetrain as the current Cooper S, it looks like prices have hiked quite a bit since then.

The seats are too

Today I learned that the Polestar 2 has a 1500kg (3300lb) braked towing capacity. Neat.

I never got the VQ hate. I always thought the G35s sounded great.

I’m not aware of any wagon that can tow a hard-sided trailer that sleeps a family of four. The smallest one I know of is the R-Pod, which weighs 3300lbs wet.

I looked into this a few months ago wondering the same thing. It depends on state laws.

Many EV plants still rely on coal power, ultimately negating the environmental benefits you’d expect from going electric.

No Miata, no care.

So then a family would need two vehicles for a cross-country trip....

That means lots more emissions and logistical hassle for a problem that is easily solved today with a back seat...

Pickups should seat five or six. Period.

I just list stuff for $20 over what I actually will accept. The buyers think they’re getting a deal, and I get the same amount I wanted in the first place.

Although I did end up getting $100 under asking price for my car, which was WAY more than I expected to get. That said, I was clear up front I was pretty firm on

I wouldn’t say that at all. Jersey Jack machines have a ton of tech, but they’re temperamental to keep working. I talked with my pinball collector friend, and he said the Jersey Jack machines are always needing tweaks and adjustments.

WARN is based less than 10 miles away from the largest Subaru dealer in the US: Wilsonville Subaru just outside Portland, OR. Wilsonville Subaru started the trend of installing lift kits, BFGs, and skid plates sourced from local Subaru rally suppliers onto brand new CrossTreks, Foresters, and Outbacks, and they’ve

We had a 1991 Plymouth Voyager just like the Tracy’s, but ours was ultra-’90s burgundy on burgundy with sweet running blades and cyan pinstripes. I remember going to the dealer to pick it up, and it still had the manufacturer’s plastic over the seats, and the door handles weren’t installed yet.

It was a good family

Yeah! Who likes having fun and lots of vehicle choices anyway?!?!

The cab is narrow so that a walking platform fits all the way around the cab. That’s important for tight subway tunnels where the standard truck cab would be too wide to allow anyone to get around it.

But I’m sure you’re cool with the invisible seat belts on all of the full size seats...

If only there was an article explaining that immediately following the headline image...
