Today I learned that the Polestar 2 has a 1500kg (3300lb) braked towing capacity. Neat.

I never got the VQ hate. I always thought the G35s sounded great. 

I’m not aware of any wagon that can tow a hard-sided trailer that sleeps a family of four. The smallest one I know of is the R-Pod, which weighs 3300lbs wet.

I looked into this a few months ago wondering the same thing. It depends on state laws.

We had a 1991 Plymouth Voyager just like the Tracy’s, but ours was ultra-’90s burgundy on burgundy with sweet running blades and cyan pinstripes. I remember going to the dealer to pick it up, and it still had the manufacturer’s plastic over the seats, and the door handles weren’t installed yet.

The cab is narrow so that a walking platform fits all the way around the cab. That’s important for tight subway tunnels where the standard truck cab would be too wide to allow anyone to get around it. 

But I’m sure you’re cool with the invisible seat belts on all of the full size seats...

I wonder how difficult it would be to put a BMW i3 drivetrain in a Miata?

On the one hand, the Mahindra is a cheap off-road side-by-side that doesn’t even remotely compete with a modern Wrangler. On the other hand, they lean pretty heavily into the Willys styling, and they could have made a simple box on frame diesel 4x4 look like just about anything.

I’m just glad I live in a state well outside of the Cannonball route.
