Fly a hovercraft, and you’ll quickly learn about drifting floating vehicles.

Did you even watch it? It’s not about Boba Fett at all. In fact, there has been no ties to the movies at ALL, other than a couple of old Stormtroopers and some offhanded references to the Empire.

There are speeders with roofs. Luke’s aunt and uncle had one that you briefly see behind C-3PO in A New Hope:

Having driven the Grand Cherokee diesel, I was very excited for the Wrangler diesel, but that price tag negates any of the fuel economy benefits for me (I’m not interested in the absolute highest possible torque).

Well, at least you’ll enjoy good resale value, even if you beat the crap out of it.

First of all, what percentage of G-Class buyers today actually care about “rugged off-roading standards”? Even if they did, not many people want to seriously off-road their $125K+ SUV.

Yep, it’s a ‘95 YJ. They revised the roll cage in 1992 to the extended version.

I will say I thought the same thing after renting a Jeep, but quickly fell in love with them after test driving a few to actually buy. The rental Wranglers are typically base models on all seasons with only power windows and door locks.

“I am currently driving 2015 Honda CRV...it’’s ok but boring..I so want a jeep wrangler Sahara for one time my life while I can still drive...ha..is this a foolish choice?”

The Leaf isn’t a Versa though. Our Leaf has a 360 degree camera system, self-steering cruise control, a great Bose audio system, leather seats, AND 150 miles of range.

They have actually. The RAV4 EV was a California-only compliance car that basically put a Tesla Roadster drivetrain in a RAV4. It had a range of about 110 miles (which was pretty good in 2014).

Ok, but Tesla is in the last gasp of tax credit qualification ($1875 this quarter, $0 next quarter), while this still qualifies for the full $7500 credit.

Maybe they’re ordering them now, but back when we bought our 2018, no dealer would even let us order one as Nissan was thinly distributing Leaf stock across all dealers in the area, and not accepting custom orders.

It’s not the horsepower in EVs, it’s the torque. The 2019 Leaf makes 250lb-ft of it, and has a 0-60 time of 6.5 seconds, so it’s certainly comparable to other family hatchbacks. This AWD version would certainly be quicker than that.

Depends where you live. They’re everywhere in Portland and Seattle.

I see a crap-load of Altimas and Rogues around me, and I don’t live next to a rental car lot, so there are clearly plenty of people buying Nissans.

You have no idea how disappointed I was to learn the FRS/GT86 came from the factory with one.

To be somewhat fair to Tesla, J1772 adaptors are included with every Tesla. It’s just a little plug adapter, not a dongle.

It’s an electric motor. The motor controller simply drives the motor backwards.

...with battery packs from Leafs or Bolts or Teslas or whatever you can find in your local junkyards
