I mean, sure; I bought the car after all. However Joe in the article wants a quality interior, so I can’t recommend the WRX based solely off that.

As a WRX owner, yes it is absolutely that bad.
LEGO parts aren’t really intended to compete with the hobby RC market though. Yeah sure, you can buy LEGO RC parts for IR control of their own motors and such, but remember that LEGO plastic is just ordinary ABS, so while LEGO are experts at tight-tolerance injection molding, ABS isn’t really a high strength plastic.
This is an excellent point, although gas prices assuredly won’t remain at $3 for the next 14 years, so some incremental factor for gas price increases should be included in that calculation.
Some of the 30 cars delivered yesterday were the standard 220mile range versions. Yes, I’m sure all of them had very upgrades, but I’ve read a few reviews already that explicitly stated that a few of the 30 employees that got their cars last night were nice enough to let the media drive their base model cars.
If you have to slam on the brakes, then you simply... slam on the brakes... This doesn’t remove the brake pedal or change its function in any way.
Yeah maybe. For me, I could handle the wait since I don’t desperately need a new car, but wanted a “sports sedan” in the 2018 timeframe anyway. I was thinking I’d get a BMW 340i, but I’ve always liked Teslas, I love the EV torque, and my work has EV charging stations, so I figured I’d put down a reservation and wait.
Well, online orders didn’t open up until the evening of pre-orders, so everyone that camped out in person has about an 8 hour headstart over the online pre-orders. That said, everyone that got in on Day 1, whether in person or online, has pretty good odds of getting their car in early 2018, especially compared to…
In addition to visual flair, I’m sure the flush door handles improve aerodynamics somewhat. The Model 3 was targeting a drag coefficient of .21, which would be the most aerodynamic mass production vehicle ever made if they achieved it. A Prius has a .25Cd by comparison.
Like the Model S and Model X, the HVAC controls are on the display. This isn’t a new thing for Tesla...
FFS, it HAS a speedometer. The speed is displayed in the upper left corner of the center display, closest to the driver’s line of sight.
Ok, I’ll bite. What exactly where you expecting? It just looks like a car to me. No better than a BMW 3-series, and no worse than a Camry.
You should also note that many JDM sedans have rear wiper while their exported counterparts do not. The Subaru Impreza and Mitsubishi Lancer are two such examples.
You can’t be serious. The old Nokia candybar phones only had around about 24MHz processors and 1250 mAh batteries. With that kind of power-sipping, naturally long run time is a result. Of course, those old NiCd batteries were heavy and didn’t have very long lifespans before the charge capacity fell off a cliff. Those…
“Never” is a very strong word. Who knows what you’ll be doing 20 years from now...
Where is Subaru saying this is a new idea?
The old CrossTrek was dangerously slow to get up to freeway speeds. I’m not expecting McLaren acceleration, but when you can’t safely merge into 65mph traffic from the length of an onramp, it’s annoying. I had one for a weekend while my WRX was in the shop, and while I feel like I had adjusted my expectations…
+1 for AutoTrader. Bought my WRX private party off there.
My point was that I wouldn’t get in a car with puke in it regardless of where it came from.
Call me crazy, but I wouldn’t ride in a taxi with puke in it regardless of how it got there, alcohol-related or not. Thus the cleaning fee to cover the lost revenue while the car is being cleaned out.
