Not necessarily. K’s have been swapped into S2K’s before, just with the custom parts needed. Additionally, as the K is basically an evolution of the F/H series, people have found the swap a lot easier than initially thought.

I was actually talking about the action of changing gears in a manual transmission car, operating the clutch etc. I think a piece of me would die if I saw a Vision Coupe lurching from a bad gear change or heard it grinding its gears.

I’ll probably be burnt at the stake for saying this, but I wouldn’t want a manual transmission to be offered. As a motorised piece of art, it just seems wrong to put something so prone to inelegance in a car this beautiful.

If I had one criticism of the RX-Vision, it would be that it’s a little stubby and bulbous in the back. I know those are classic GT / Jaguar E-Type proportions but it never full meshed for me. The back of this is absolutely spectacular though and the RX-Vision could stand to take a cue from it and have its back…

This feels simultaneously like a consolation prize and confession that they’re not making the RX-Vision.
