This isn’t a new issue though. Every MT Honda I’ve driven from 2002 up, including my own, has at some point had an issue grinding in second gear. Specifically, all were fitted with some variant of the K motor.
It’s common knowledge in Honda tuner circles that the gearbox can be a weak-point for K-equipped cars, so I…
Having driven an EP3-SI & owned a 5 Speed JDM Integra of the same era & ilk, I can say emphatically that Honda did this car a great disservice in both styling and powertrain for, as you also surmised, fear of cannibalising the RSX’s sales.
From interior fit & finish to handling & everything in between, the EP-3 always…
The worst part about all of this is that these establishments are usually informal, i.e., uninsured.
The Crown’s owner is either going to have to foot the insurance bill, sue the owner of the establishment and the driver, or take matters into his own hands.
It’ll probably be a more expensive, track-focused variant in the vein of the GT3RS / GT35OR. Given the mostly positive reviews and huge demand, there’s absolutely no reason for them to introduce a cheaper SKU.

I think we can call this The Golden Internet Automotive Age, for reasons I’ll list below:
1. Manufacturers, consumers, pundits and enthusiasts have unprecedented access to information, each other & their desires.
2. Well, that’s it really.
That’ll buff right out
I’d want an additional 80hp & a DCT option, but I’d buy it regardless what engine powered it.
“Almost” being the operative word.
I, I just can’t help myself
You are a gentleman and a scholar, good sir.

Agreed but if there was ever an industry in need of disruption, it would be the energy sector. I actually have long held Putin’s views on renewable energy and EV’s, especially in developing countries.
For the record, the word “silencer”is something of a misnomer. “Suppressor” is a more appropriate term, as silenced discharges are still pretty audible but do less damage to the firer’s hearing.
While the timing is indeed unfortunate, it has little to no ramifications on what took place in Las Vegas.
And hey, the aftermarket just might let you turn this thing into a business casual tuner car by the end of the year.
That reading this doesn’t feel far removed from something you’d find probably find in a doomsday prepper’s hand guide lends it a gravitas that sears and irks me to my core.
*insert "FJ Cruiser called, it wants its design back" joke*
Honestly feels like I’m watching something from the future.
Around a decade ago, the Red Bull F1 car came here (Jamaica) as part of a car show. As we had no private tracks near the show site that could accommodate such a machine, a few public roads we closed to allow testing and prepping of the vehicle.
To this very day, people in nearby communities will regale you with stories…
