Exactly. Unless by some fluke a $1500-2000 car drops in your lap for $600, pretty much anything that can be had for less than $1500 isn’t a good option for a daily driver.
Sorry, but reliable $600 cars are not the norm. These days, anything less than $1500 is pretty much a guaranteed basket case.
