I've been using Typograph for years. But I'm finding that Windows 7's preview of fonts (actually showing you the font itself) is pretty useful on its own right.

We make tea in a yellow submarine. A yellow submarine. A yellow submarine.
Did that yesterday before applying SP1. One could also make an image before deleting the install files, too.
Not to encourage paranoia, but have you checked your credit record yourself? There might be something on there that's inaccurate. And that can affect you even though it's not your fault.
I've been running CookieMonster on Firefox for years. Few sites get "permanent" cookies. A few more get "cookies for this session." Everything else gets denied. Life's good...
I bought a Gomadic version of this concept for $20 a few years back to use with my PalmTX. An advantage to the Gomadic version is the interchangeable tips. I've used the same backup pack with my iPod and my HTC Aria.
Safety 1st makes a static-cling sunshade for reducing light through car windows and protecting the skin of infants. I got one at Babies R Us (~$5). There are probably other brands.
If an emoticon in a business email is necessary to make sure that the message is not misunderstood, then it's been my experience that the message probably shouldn't be delivered via email.
LastPass is great. It really helped me clean up and "diversify" my passwords. The security test identified a bunch of passwords where I'd been lazy, and that made it easy to know where I needed to make changes.
I wouldn't mind sheets with the Lifehacker logo. If they're flannel, I'd have no problem getting my wife to let me put them on the bed.
Wahoo. We're ahead of the curve for once - doing something BEFORE it ends up on Lifehacker.
@SquareWheel: That's been my experience, as well.
@Ray Henderson: Fantastic!
@flinx1: That's not "digital." That's cordless. There's a difference.
@Sphaler: You could always just use LastPass to manage your passwords and log-out of LastPass before someone else uses your computer.
@Neeraj Verma: I'm aware of online billpay, and my bank offers it. But pointing out its existence misses my point - which I perhaps could have expanded.
It's been my experience that humans are better at predicting the future than they are about reading someone else's mind.
@Logan Edwards: Running the gas fireplace for heat is not necessarily reducing power consumption. Natural gas is expensive around hear.
@RickyMouse: Darn toonin'. That's the dad-burnedest best method for conserving the most important power - my own!
It looks like a rug made of wool. Divots in polyester/nylon carpet don't react the same way, as the material won't swell when wet.
