In my experience, crunch for QA teams on large titles like these frequently looks like three consecutive weeks where you work 70 - 90+ hours. You MIGHT have one weekend day off during all of this, but this day off could also also cancelled the day before it’s scheduled due to “project needs.”

As a former QA tester at Activision, thank you for mentioning the work disparity between devs like Schofield and the chronically overworked/underpaid “grunts” that put their hearts and souls into the thankless task of making the games playable.
