In some ways, slice of life shows are fairly accurate. I compare my own experiences favorably with Azumanga Daioh. One of my former students (who is still one of my mentees) is working on a manga based on her experiences, and I’m in it (although not a main character).

I’ll go check tomorrow when it’s light out again! I should do a manhole cover post...

Ah the old “we designed our cars to be pieces of shit, so therefore it isn’t relly a Lemon” defense.

Maybe tomorrow? #deferredCOTD LOL

Hard to compete with a pro, I guess.

Guess I missed out on #COTD today :(

COTD material, right here.

Honda says the 1.5 liter engine will provide “sporty performance;”

I’ve been there, 90 percent of the cars have AMG badges or are Escalades.

The 1994 Dodge Ram. With this model the Ram went from a horribly dated, decades-old platform with one engine (the Cummins) being its only saving grace, to an immensely popular new model that put the brand back on the map and shaped pickup truck design for decades to come.

Oh man... sorry about that. Sometimes I forget to expand all the hidden replies, of which tere were numerous in this case. I apologize for the hassle. I’m gonna go ahead and +1 your redaction to try and elevate it out of the invisible.

We've had 8 of these vans, spanning every body style from 1988 to 2003. They all creak, and they're all relentlessly dependable, as long as you don't expect the electric windows to work, and anticipate the transmission going out every 70-100K miles. It's a fact of life, you fix it and keep going. My current DD is a

Our 99 Town and Country Limited made that sound when shifting out of park, too. I always wondered about that.

I know that sound!! The family van had to have the transmission replaced about 5 different times. Road trips were always a gamble.

This reminds me very acutely of Chrysler transmissions. That whole “creaking” sound when shifting gears.

It seems that in New Jersey there are so many examples of ‘non-existent’ construction zones that never seem to have any actual work being done.

Nice JMC S-Tren Prickup he’s got there. On a serious note, I like how they balanced the blade by just taking chunks out of it strategically.
