You know, after reading so much about the Hellcat's 707BHP engine and price, the Z/28 just seems so.....irrelevant.

GM stepped up their game with the Z/28, but then Dodge torpedoed GM out of the water with the Hellcat.

What's Rule #1 of Jalopnik? The answer is always...

I heard that BMW started including free maintenance because they have such a high lease rate. Apparently, lessees figure they can run the same oil in the car for the duration of the lease. Including free maintenance ensures that BMW gets a well maintained car back for their CPO program.

Here's another point to consider. My wife got the free maintenance deal with her 2014 Highlander. This was exciting for her. She seemingly negotiated something for free from the dealer.

The 2008 WRX. Subaru thought consumers wanted a softer, friendlier WRX.

Tom, I feel that my experience mirrors exactly the kind of experience you had, with regard to purchasing a non-Big 3 car of ANY kind, in Detroit Metro.

The dealerships know that the majority of buyers here are going to buy Domestic anyhow, because they want to "Support 'Murica", it's the "default" choice, and most of

GM's newly launched trucks barely sell more than Ford's old outgoing trucks. All this says to me is that people aren't buying as many of Ford's outgoing F150 because they're waiting for the highly publicized replacement to come. Should be interesting.

CLEARLY it's a design study for the 2016 Ford Edge CC

This car basically screams "Fuck the poor" and has no fucks to give for plebes.

Seems like I overdid it with the earth tones in the interior..

With this truck, I'm at a solid zero. Even if it had a diesel manual comb I'd still be at zero.

First question I'd like to know:

When's the first refresh coming? You know, to fix that front end and those... oh god those terrible headlamps :)

If we don't have chick cars, do we still have bro-mobiles?

There is such a thing:

With all this talk of an inevitable slow down in car sales, we're clearly not there yet as the big number from yesterday's car sales is: 17.5 million. That's the seasonally adjusted annual selling rate (SAAR), per the Freep, which is the first time in eight years that number has been above 17 million.

Yeah, I made an Oppo post and tried to notify 4 editors and nobody seems to be noticing. They must have their Miata blinders on.

I'll say it. I don't like the front.

My partner and I are looking to lease an XV probably some time this Winter, or in the Spring. Lack of a turbo option is actually a point of frustration for him.

He's not a car person at all, but he was disappointed you can't get an "XV Turbo". He isn't interested in the Hybrid. His only real complaint with our 1st gen

I live chatted with the dealership. It didn't go well.

.....are burger munching, shallow, chrome loving baboons? Yeah, pretty much.
