20 years of IT tech going into the office, or doing contract work traveling. Was pretty much over it, and wanted to transition to something WFH before the pandemic hit anyhow.

The displacement is nice, but, tuning for non-Mazdaspeed Mazdas is... sorely lacking.

This is the sort of high-speed internet coverage that 5G promises to deliver. We still have a few years before it’s more prolific, as upgrades take time. And hopefully they don’t totally fuck you on the data usage.

Didn’t have to read it, can just hit the ‘ol Page Down button, you have options!

Seemingly enough, my Elantra sedan had better trade-in value. I actually broke even on that one, and that had some minor body damage (unfortunately)

Lease or otherwise, trade in value wasn’t originally a factor in this decision as I planned to keep it anyhow. But things change. Like a global pandemic. Plus, in a few

Drove the 6 Turbo when it first came out. It was a nice place to be, but the torque didn’t fool me... it wasn’t really that much quicker and just didn’t have quite the feel I was looking for.

It’s more that I want a little bit more vehicle around me. The Accord is just shy of 2' longer. Way more back seat room especially leg room, which my car sorely lacks.

That’s only part of it. I do need a larger vehicle, and don’t want to go SUV as I don’t really have a use for one. Sedan is fine.

I’ve actually got something of an opposite issue. Figure this might not be a bad place to put my thoughts out there to be picked apart:

I can offer one up - in some cases where you’re trying to fix your credit, since buying/leasing a new car is an easier approval in a lot of cases, than a used car. Plus loan or lease, both show up on your credit as a loan - so you’re essentially cutting your debt-to-income ratio down considerably, in a lease. Plus,

I sure as FUCK wouldn’t put kids in a Grand Caravan, with the crash test ratings those things get.

It's already back ordered through mid-end of September. I've already had to wait long enough for my damned freezer and not really feeling inclined to wait on a cheap office chair either.

Probably also explains why the ‘21 Tucson and, appearing more and more likely, the ‘21 Kona, became a carryover model instead of new and refreshed like they were supposed to. And the delayed Sonata N-Line.

“...should I decide to leave metro Detroit soon.”

It’s a sickening predicament because when it comes to repossession and default, renters get kicked out the fastest. Then comes the car. Then the homeowners, by a LONGSHOT.

In some ways, yes, I would agree.   Also my statement above was just opinion and observation, wasn’t meant to be derogatory. This is why we have different vehicles for different markets. Different countries and areas have different taste and needs.

Nope, just an observation. I don’t mean anything derogatory, in what I typed above.

I was rubbing the sleep out of my eyes while looking at this. I had to refresh the page a few times to try to understand fully what I am looking at.

As an American, I’ve always found the European version/model of a lot of vehicles... including Australian versions (though I know this is a S.A. model) to look kind of like a “funhouse mirror” version of our cars.

Yeah grew up in Metro Detroit, myself, and fireworks were always a good show. Miss those and thunderstorms (though from an environmental standpoint, I wouldn’t -necessarily- be disappointed if fireworks were minimized or eliminated).
