Nah. Fremont is still very much a suburb. If Tesla pulls out, a different business will just move in. There isn’t exactly a ton of open real estate in the Bay Area, especially that’s more turn-key ready to lightly develop or renovate and occupy, than a plot of open field....

I’m sure a C63 has Z-rated tires, but....

It all depends on the year, and the model. I personally won’t buy another BMW because the maintenance is too costly. But I also wouldn’t buy a 13 year old quasi-sport sedan, and instead put the money toward something more fun and powerful and perhaps even a bit nicer interior.

“Low maintenance” in which case, is this

You can get a fairly decent, turbocharged BMW for this amount of money.

If this stereo has Bluetooth from the factory, then it's probably Bluetooth 2.0 AT BEST. Which means AWFUL audio quality.

Thanks! That was pretty informative actually. I'll have to take a peek.

A good piece of Metro D history right there. Thanks for running this.

I was fortunate enough that I had an uncle who imparted this sort of widsom upon me, as a teenager:

“Don’t try to find a career you love. DO try to find a job that you can tolerate, and that you’re good at, and that pays well”.

I’m still trying to figure out what a “Grimes” is, and how she’s relevant to... pop culture anything?

Really, it’s the C-HR that would be the “GR” compact candidate for our weird-ass market. Historically, the Corolla SEDAN would have been their pick for a hi-po hatch. Always has been, here, with the XRS.

Yep. That’s really just about all that needs to be said.

I’ll take it if the seller paid ME $5,900.

Rumor has it the next gen Mazda6 and Lexus RC are sharing a platform and Mazda’s new I6 engine.

VW decontented and changed their designs to be more NA-centric. Sales volume DID pick up from that, but not to the level they were hoping for. And they basically took away the charm and the special-ness of mainstream German vehicles. To add to that, their NA managers still can’t quite get the market here, right.

Yeah, honestly, I’m kind of waiting to get my Star back.

Welcome. Glad the ex-Jalops have your back and are vetting you.

One of those “good problem to have” things when you finally have a vehicle that can command that pricing. I anticipate that I won’t be getting a Kona N for anything less than MSRP.

Yeah the difference being Michael Scott was a BENEVOLENT idiot. A character who cared about his business and the people who worked for him.

If I wasn’t already convinced that we were in the Darkest Timeline...
