I think the owners missed the exits to the SF Bay Area about, oh, 1,250 miles ago. Because unfortunately, while selling a silly thing like that makes no sense in Colorado.. it makes PERFECT, sad sense, here in California. Worse yet - there’s plenty of people here that will pay the price for a home that’s mobile.

Please, for the love of christ, keep the spotlight off these cars.

Deadweight? Is that you?

I need to go check if i can get PWR•VRS before someone else does

Bet a new set of spark plugs and a couple hard runs to clear the crud out, and clear the cats, is about all it needs to bring some of that V6 power back. This is the era right before before 100K mile plugs.

5th: A far cry from the diminished value of these cars due to the transmission issues, making them lot poison to anyone unfortunate to put a non-manual F/F on their lot.

*looks around, bewildered*

I already traded it in, which is part of why I know :) My N-Line is leased and I don’t plan to keep it, so in this round of car “ownership” I haven’t been paying attention to car ownership.

I plan to moderately mod it. ECU flash and full bolt-ons, and I should be good

I’d suggest a 1988 Subaru Justy 5-speed.

I still look forward to buying a used GT2 when my N-Line lease is up :)

My 2017 Elantra Value Edition sedan, actually depreciated a few percent less than your typical Hyundai. And less depreciation than the previous generation car did.

Should put some 15s on that!

:) anyone who has been around Jalop long enough, knows i always issue a missive of flaming hot takes when it comes to Michigan/ Metro D / D-Town Proper.

So long as the greater bulk of the population of the area wants the “good ‘ol days” back, Detroit (and the Metro as a whole) will never move forward. Because it’s always standing in it’s own way.

This is really quite unfortunte.

“Whoops”.

Yet it’s going into their entry level compact. Plus Mazda hasn’t been throwing development dollars at electrification or hybrids, instead trying to boost their overall fleet mileage with advanced ICE engines.

Obligatory “Fuck Michigan”. The only thing less fortunate is my admission that i was actually born and raised there.

Can confirm. In various places in the SF Bay Area, there’s a number of wild turkey runs. And they absolutely fly. Including on the roof of the 2d floor apartment.
