I’m a high school English teacher, and I plan to punch one of my colleagues in his throat when he makes his first condescending or misogynistic (or both) comment.

I work for the revolution so I’ll be working. But I’m going to go to a woman owned piercing studio and have some more holes put in me. And then I’m goin to a solidarity conversation with a local Islamic Center.

Here in México city we are having a general strike, art performances and a rally. It will be the largest women strike we’ve had. It’s gonna be amazing.

I will be working since my boss quit about 3 weeks ago and I inherited her work, and we are in the middle of a project and I am in the middle of all the paperwork of getting a promotion, title change, switched over to salary and a huge raise. I’m not throwing all that way for some nebulous strike. I’ve spent 5 years…

No joke, I’ll be at work attending a racial equity workshop while eating pie purchased from a woman owned bakery.
