Both Microsoft and Sony provide some accessibility and preferences settings in their latest consoles’ system menus, but I’m not sure if it’s a qual requirement to actually use them. And also they’re sorely insufficient, providing only a handful of options.

The first Silent Hill did get a remake already, for PS2, PSP, and Wii (Silent Hill: Shattered Memories). I don’t remember it doing all that well, though. Wikipedia seems to say otherwise.

It’s kind of surprising you’ve never heard of that company before; they’re a juggernaut in the mobile space, and have been ever since you could download games onto your phone in the early 2000s. And yes, they’ve always been as scummy as you’d expect from a game company founded by a Guillemot (in this case, Michel).

That just means he’s better at hiding it. It’s got fuck-all to do with whether he is that kind of dirtbag.

One of my favorite PS1 games is Bust-A-Groove; I didn’t get to play the full version until years into the PS2 era. I would have never cared about it (and maybe later rhythm games like Dance Dance Revolution) if not for it being on kiosk demos, which used the game demos as the discs you’d get with PSM and Official U.S.

Israel told Gaza residents to flee. Then they bombed people who were fleeing. The Israeli government is not in any way trustworthy or moral and needs to get replaced with something that is. Netanyahu himself needs to be dragged before the Hague.

Although I’d be surprised if New York City is properly driveable, the developer’s website says that the game world overall is, and that there are places in the game world further customized by them either for added accuracy or fun.

Asobo is very clear about it. They didn’t make this.

Though really it’s not actually because nobody wanted to go to prom with them, it’s why nobody wanted to go to prom with them.

He’ll be allowed to do so just as much as Barret, I'm certain of that.

Gravity Rush and DJMax Technika Tune for me. I don’t regret buying my third one, only losing the first two.

Ugh. 200 months too many.

What does Nintendo own that they didn’t make themselves? All I can think of is Eternal Darkness (Silicon Knights) and Pokémon (Game Freak), and Nintendo only part-owns Pokémon, sharing it with the creator and Creatures, Inc.

Politicians need to admit that it’s a whole other sentence.

Video games are still very young, but already, I fear we’re in danger—not of losing access to early games, but of losing the stories and perspectives that can illuminate what makes them so influential and exciting.

Those situations are one of the things that "sailing the high seas" are for.
