School is making me ragey. Telling me it’s “super obvious” isn’t going to work, and clearly it isn’t, because half the class is like “WTF.”

I think I might invite some friends over so I have an excuse to make this.

Yeah..I guess by “sneakers” I mean, like, trail running shoes.

It might not be a smaller town, depending on where she lives. She only mentions the small Quebec city by the border where they’ve got all those refugees. Which hopefully they move into something more sturdy before winter; canvas tents with heaters are all well and good, but a miserable place to be for four months with

I yearn for the day when plain black sneakers become fashionable.

I read that twice and I still don’t get it.

Retro week.

Uh, yeah? It’s retro week, that’s the whole idea.

It’s retro week. These are 1950's rules.

Huh. Where I come from, it’s called a “popper”, and it’s something teens/young adults do to get a different kind of high, or extend their weed budget, or something. It’s apparently very harsh on the lungs and highly unpleasant.

I don’t know a lot of people who use Amazon like that. They buy stuff from there, but not from a wishlist or anything.

Encourage that. Make it a movement. Spread it to Canada.

Man, I wish gift registries for birthdays was a thing. It would make life so much easier. I love giving presents! I love giving useful presents! And people can be so damn aggravating about it.

Winter coats need to breathe, rule 1. I bought a hiking parka from the North Face, usually stick a hoody under there because I am small and lizardlike, and I’m usually good.

Frankly, I’ve always gotten away with a heavy hoody until -10c or so, then I use my coat.
