Quite frankly, I value my free time at roughly twice per hour what I get for my work time. I accept my work time as something necessary to give up in order to fund my lifestyle. My free time on the other hand is a precious commodity that I parcel out carefully because I lose something I’d otherwise expect to have

I will quibble with the “my labor is cheaper” point.

“Because it was his company’s money.”

If he’s the owner, where do you think his paycheck is coming from?

I wish you could save $20. You really can’t. Doing it yourself costs exactly the same. the only reason I do it is peace of mind and I find it relaxing to do simple tasks like that.

What happened to Freddy, anyways? Not that user-generated list-posts are all that much added value, but I enjoyed the wrenching articles well enough. To be fair, the new guy who does the write ups on wrenching is a bit more thorough / interesting, but he is a bit less humorous.

Using similes is weak shit. Metaphors... metaphors are where it’s at.

Scope creep is the result of ill defined parameters and objectives.

Bubb Rubb humbly disagrees, and advises you to also install whistle tips.

And still doesn’t have anywhere near the room... so what is your point?

When my lease is up a Pacifica is 100% going to land in my driveway. It’s easy on the eyes inside and out, and is crazy easy to live with for daily driving / kids AND will haul 4 x 8 contained completely within the vehicle.

I have no idea how many minivans Chrysler sells or how many CX-5 Mazda manages to get in people’s driveways, but I highly doubt “the sales of the CX-5 significantly outpace the sales of the Pacifica”.

Single, Childless, 32 year old here. The Pacifica is on the top of my list. I grew up with minivans and the usefulness is undeniable, further it’s about the most counter-culture vehicle a millennial can get. Because of the crossovers popularity, it’s days are numbered before it become synonymous with Starbucks soccer

ya know, shirlena, god only made a few perfect heads - the rest he covered with hair.

I used to think that way, but I kind of like the idea that I’m pitching in for some lucky fool to get Lamborghini money.

Sigh, but you could also get a used whatever else as well. Then you could save that money and pay for gas the life of your car. There are tons of reasons people buy new cars. Whether it’s lease incentives through work or the peace of mind of warranties, or simply wanting to make sure you don’t get a car that’s been

My grandma put pom-poms on her Citation’s roof rack so that she could more easily find it in a big parking lot, among the other Citations. Grandma wasn’t too bright, but she was resourceful.

Wouldn’t they be saving $196,050? Or are they trying to kill off a kid trying to save them $50k by finishing a 4 year degree in 3 years? Are they just being upset parents, killing off their kid after they see the kid partied his 1st year, and wasted $50k? Did the kid steal $50k and spend it on hookers and blow?

I think it’s that kind of grassroots action that will eventually change the culture at all levels. Good for you guys.
