I just loved the sibling relationship and any episodes with the Gellar parents. What I'm saying is, if this was an entirely different show, it could have been great.

I was never a big fan of Friends, but I thought if the show was called The Gellars and focused on Ross, Monica, and their parents with Rachel and Chandler as side characters, I may have loved it. I think Lisa Kudrow is great but Phoebe never amused me, nor did Joey.

"I like my hamburgers plain. No pickles or vegetables. I'm a simple guy."

I'm rewatching the episode and it was so good that I forgot about Peralta's made up names for his fake amateur ballroom dancing proteges: Rhonda Shawerma and Hank Frank.

I've gotten Beth from NewsRadio vibes from GIna. Any NewsRadio vibes are a good thing.

Paired well with Holt's and Santiago's dead eyes set to funk music.

Also pretty much every scene with Terry Crews, especially:
-"This is taking too long. I'm gonna miss the farmer's market!"
-"Stop eating crab wrong!"
-The cantaloupe song.

God forbid it premiere at Sundance.

I love how freaked out everyone looks when they figure out Martin's "game show" is the same PBS program Frasier and Niles want to watch.

Next week, we've got to pick a different word.

He's an excellent physician and a pretty good dentist.

That very well could be. Most often the thing that makes me laugh the most is the weird last sketch of the night that probably almost didn't make it at all.

The bit where he fantasizes having his own recording studio to record the Burger King jingle with a full ensemble in "Rosebud" is my favorite example.

Good night, Mr. Walters!

Diaz's "I'm weird" to Vivian is my favorite Diaz so far.

Black people CAN do drugs! Black people CAN do drugs!

Last week's "Stop eating crab wrong!" was my favorite moment in the episode.

I noticed Hitchcock and Scully's name tags on their desks this time: Michael Hitchcock and Norm Scully. Reverse name references to Mike Scully and Norm Hiscock?

Melinda & Melinda is actually one of my favorites and there are a lot of great lines in Whatever Works, plus Patricia Clarkson who is always fantastic.

I loved the cut to Terry writing "Adult parties" on the white board. This show is good.
