Another high school mean girl, soon will be whining that people are being mean to her.

yeah even if it was private, it’s still fucked up. jesus. how awful.

Furthermore, can you point to an event in history where a traditionally marginalized group of people got equality by asking nicely?

I’m saving this one in my back pocket for use later, thanks.

But when applied in reality, it’s only white guys that can effectively do this because an audience is more inclined to listen to them whatever they say.

All I know that is that it’s taken him out of the IN governor’s race and the lieutenant governor is new and not well-known. So it’s Dems time to shine around here. ;)

Glad to have you out of Indiana’s vaginas hair, Pence. Have fun walking that one back.

Your title is misleading as fuck .It was ABC’s townhall, not Obama’s.

and her regret that “black people have to act belligerent” to be heard.

If that townhall included our/Texas’ disastrous shitshow of a former radio host of a Lieutenant Governor, then I’d be pissed even if I got asked 100 questions. He and his party are relics and have nothing to contribute going forward, and wouldn’t contribute even if they had something because they’re racist nihilists.

Being forceful and demanding to be heard is not acting belligerent. Say your piece Erica Garner.

It's just a really tough place for an atheist to feel welcome.

This is spot on. Going to meetings you can see that it has really worked for a lot of people, but the whole culture there is based on the group-think idea that their way is the only way and that you need to find God or you will never get sober. I found it really creepy and uncomfortable.

Ohmigoodness, I am so SO happy for you. <3

I am really REALLY happy for you that you changed your life - sincere congratulations.

I’m very happy for you that you got sober - it is a hell of a fight.

To me, it was no different then a 100 ‘pull yourself up by your bootstraps’ pop psychology books. I also wasn’t comfortable telling strangers my problems. That’s an immediate shitshow for those of us with anxiety disorders. LOL I attacked my problems with individual therapy after A.A. left me cold. A.A. is so based on

I cried through my entire first meeting too. I had actually wandered into a ‘graduate level meeting’ where they were doing the book stuff so I just listened and cried. Someone did come up to me after the meeting and took me to a beginner one. But yes, I totally understand how you can find comfort in just being with

That’s a great distinction to make: getting sober vs. staying sober. I too used AA to get sober; I was so terrified and sad and angry and lonely, and it was a great support group. I just fucking sobbed the whole first meeting and nobody said a thing. Which doesn’t sound like support, but was exactly what I needed - to

“I can only guess that she wishes to be a feminist icon and doesn’t want to be on the wrong side of it,” said the Fox News insider. “My impression is she doesn’t want to be on the opposite side of a woman, period. She really believes that she’s plowing new ground for girls and women. It’s ‘I am cable-show host, hear

My guess is that Megyn is still trying to barf up her Red Pill and hasn’t quite gotten it out yet.
